Future Portland is hosting a fundraiser so we can reorganize as a 501(c)(3) and 501(c)(4) and take our grassroots civic education and local government outreach to the next level. The event will feature a public safety discussion featuring Multnomah County District Attorney Nathan Vasquez and Portland Police Chief Bob Day, moderated by lawyer and Rational in Portland podcast host Kristin Olson.
All proceeds from ticket sales will go directly towards filing fees for our new nonprofits and will include one free drink ticket. Space is limited to 75 people, so don’t miss out!
EVENT INFO
The event is Wednesday, April 23rd from 5-7pm at The Hotel Zags Portland (formerly the Hotel Modera) at 515 SW Clay St. You can arrive as early as 4:45pm to check-in and get your drink voucher for beer or wine at our event bar. The hotel entrance is at the corner of SW 5th & Clay.
There is limited seating with some reserved for ADA access. Pending the weather forecast this event will be held outdoors, so please dress accordingly. Light refreshments will be served or you can get non-alcoholic beverages, cocktails, or other food at the hotel restaurant and bar inside, which is having their soft opening just in time for our event!
GETTING THERE
The hotel is on the MAX line and in the bus mall so public transit is recommended. There is some limited paid parking at the hotel and street parking nearby; City Center parking garage at 545 SW Market St. and Parking NW garages at 620 SW Columbia & 420 SW Clay streets.
AGENDA
Speaking will begin at 5:30pm. Please submit questions in advance if you haven't already, as we will have limited time outside of the discussion portion.
